Welcome to my idea of the perfect wedding day or anniversary gifts. 

There is no more special a day in your life than that of your Wedding Day.

Whether you are two young people starting out in the long road of family life or a more mature couple, this should and will be a day to remember.

If your Daughter or Sons' Wedding Day is quickly approaching, or a friend is getting married and you'd like to give a personal gift, don't be at a loss as to what they might like as a Wedding Present.

The Bride and Groom Keepsake. 

This is the photograph of a piece of Curved Glass. It is engraves with the picture of a wedding venue, the date of the wedding and the details of the wedding party

This is a wedding gift I was commissioned to engrave for a couple, who were married in the Gails Hotel in Irvine in May of 2013. It is a photograph engraved on the rear of the curved glass, with the details of the wedding engraved on the front. The name of the hotel was also engraved on the front, giving a 3D look to the piece of engraving. It was well received by the newly married couple. This engraving is presented in a silk lined box. It can also be sold with two wine glasses similarly engrave as in the box below starting from £84 depending on the size and engraving required.

 A Highland Wedding Venue

This is a picture engraving of the Dornoch Castle hotel directly onto the back of a piece of curved glass.On the front of the glass is engraved James and Sandra and the date and location of the marriage. Engraved in this manner creates depth of field and gives a 3D effect.

 

A Bowling Club Wedding.

This is a piece of Curved Glass and two matching Champagne Flutes. The curved Glass is engraved with the photograph of the Irvine Winton Bowling Club club house, the name of the bride and groom and the details of the wedding. The wine glasses are engrave with the same , however one glass has the brides name first and the second has the grooms name first.

 

A similar request was made by a couple who were married at their home bowling club. This engraving was completed in the same manner as was the earlier glass engraving. On this occasion however, the Photo engraving was engraved on the front along with the bride and grooms' names. Below the photo engraving was engraved the details of the Irvine Winton Bowling Club, the venue, and the date of their marriage. I had the pleasure of attending this wedding as a guest. The engraving was admired by all who attended. The piece of glass engraving was supplied two champagne flutes also, as seen above and boxed in a very nice silk lined box. Sold with two Claudia Champagne glasses this collection starting from £150 depending on the size and engraving required.

This is a plain whisky glass engraved with a bride and groom. It also has engraved onto the their name and details of the ceramony. These engraved glasses were given to male guests at the wedding reception.What of the favours?

A Wine Glass perhaps for the Ladies, a Tot or Whisky Glass for the Gents. Now that's unusual!

Imagine the wedding guests thinking at the end of the night?

A Closing Thought

As a closing thought, all of these ideas could be and are used for many of those special life time events, such as:

  • Birthdays and a Record of Birth This photograph is of a champagne bottle with the front label removed and engraved in its place is a large heart inside of which is engraved a bride and groom suronded by the words Happy Golden Wedding Anniversary and the no 50. All of the engravings ar infilled with gold pain except the brides dress which is infilled with silver paint.
